*FABS stands for flexibility, aerobic, balance and strength. You will improve all of these and more when you attend this weekly session. This class is ideal for older adults or anyone that has a long term health complaint that limits their ability to exercise. Or perhaps you are recovering from an illness or injury and need to rebuild your strength and stamina.
Keeping our body moving, strong and flexible is essential for our wellbeing.
The FABS Training Programme has been developed by Move it or Lose it, collaborating partners with the Centre for Healthy Ageing Research at University of Birmingham.

'As an older member of our group I find I can keep up with the younger members because Emma tailors each person’s needs in a fun and individual way. Her classes are fun & enjoyable whatever your age & ability." Ann xx
"For some years I've suffered from poor balance. Following a fall in a supermarket the slight vertigo I already suffered from became a lot worse. I was unable to use stairs or steps without holding on to the handrail and many walks were made impossible because of obstacles like rough ground or tree trunks. A few weeks after starting Emma's classes this ceased to be the case and my balance is actually better than it was before the fall." Sean H (FABS class)
